Hi, I’m Abdi
I am a passionate UX designer with a deep commitment to creating intuitive, user-centered designs that make a difference. My journey into UX began with a fascination for how technology can impact people's lives, and it has evolved into a career dedicated to crafting experiences that resonate with users.
I believe that great design starts with understanding the user, which is why I prioritize empathy and research in my process. Whether it's through conducting user interviews, creating wireframes, or iterating on prototypes, I’m driven by the desire to solve real problems with thoughtful design solutions.
Having transitioned into UX after discovering my passion for it later in life, I bring a unique perspective that combines my diverse experiences with a relentless curiosity to learn and grow. I’ve had the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, each contributing to my holistic understanding of UX design—from user research and information architecture to interaction design and usability testing.
I’m not just interested in designing; I want to understand the "why" behind a product or feature, ensuring it has a clear purpose and meaningful impact. I also care deeply about making products accessible to everyone. My goal is to create designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional while advocating for the needs of diverse, often overlooked user groups.
Outside of work, I enjoy documentaries, basketball, history, travel, business and exploring new tech. These activities keep me curious and bring fresh perspectives to my work.
I’m always looking to connect with others who share a passion for design, technology, and making a positive impact.
